Most used Interfaces include:

  • Patient search

  • Schedule Chart and Radiology worklists can be used to search patients, but the Patient search interface is a separate interface designed to be used to only search patient details.
Patient information can be updated, historical studies can be looked up as well as given you access to all scanned documents for the patient. Reports can be printed, and additional documents can be scanned on the patient level.
  • Schedule Chart

Scheduler is mainly used to book patients, capture patients, search patients, print completed reports, and scan supporting documentation.

  • Radiology Worklist

  • Customizable to be used by a variety of staff members. Depending on your user level, you might be restricted to use all the functionality on the worklist
  • The radiology worklist functions as a radiographer workstation where radiographers can access the digital job cards, get all patient information, patient demographics, referral physician’s information, requested procedure information as well as access to all scanned documents and referral notes. The radiology worklist is also used by the radiographer to begin and complete the job card and pre-fee the account.
  • The worklist also doubles up as a search interface where patient details can be searched for current, prior as well as future bookings.
  • Reports can be printed and/or emailed, full clinical history and staff action tracking can be done from the worklist.
  • Other areas in the radiology department, like porters and distribution clerks, can use the worklist as part of their daily workflow with limited access.
  • Matching Worklist

  • The matching worklist is mainly used by radiographers to match images to a RIS entry when a DICOM worklist has not been used or if a patient has been manually captured on the modality, eg for BSU studies.
The worklist can also be used to delete images (although the preferred platform to delete images is on the PACS worklist).
Matching worklist can also be used to split images, match, un-match, merge and link images.
  • Enterprise viewer (PACS Worklist)

  • The images can be accessed from the PACS worklist.
  • Radiographers can use the PACS worklist to review the images, add annotations and post-processing images before reporting. The PACS worklist can also be used by the radiographers to delete images.
  • Receptionists and distribution clerks will use the PACS worklist to print CDs and/or reports.
  • Radiologists will use the PACS to review and interpret the images, create reports and perform image post-processing.
  • Collection Worklist

  • Collection worklist may consist of different workbooks to control the flow of the work and to divide responsibilities between different users.

  • The navigation bar is completely customizable. Different interfaces will be accessible depending on your user level and job description. The head of the department and/or INFINITT staff will configure the welcome page and navigation bar and set profile settings for each staff member to accommodate your workflow requirements.
  • The tree view on the left hand of the welcome page represents all possible interfaces/application. You can use the navigation bar icons and/or the tree view to launch an interface. Keep in mind that you will still not have access to the applications which are not applicable to your tasks.
