Scheduler Chart - Find and select a time slot

It is important to capture a patient in the correct modality column to ensure the population of DICOM worklist to correct modality.

The selected time slot will be the scheduled time for the booking or walk-in patient.  

• Log onto INFINITT
• Open Scheduler Chart from System Management page with Schedule Chart icon on the navigation bar or Scheduler Chart from the menu tree.  (Order and Scheduling > Scheduler Chart)

Find modality column, find a time slot, search patient – workflow

Select the correct station (for the specific modality), correct date and correct time.

• Find the correct modality column (station).
  • Select correct stations  (modality column) from modality list and click search.

• Select the correct date.

• Find the correct time slot.

• L-mouse click once in the correct time slot to launch Patient search and continue booking or capturing the patient.

Any captured patient and order information will populate to the selected time slot as a scheduled time for the booking. 

If more than one patient has been scheduled for the same station, date and time, the 'bookings' will roll in the time slot.  

This usually happens if more than one receptionists selected the same slot to do the booking.  It is not a problem for studies that does not required a specific individual time slot, eg. CT/MR/US.
