Working with Macros on the Note dialogue on G7 Worklist (Tech Note)

How to create macros for Tech notes / User-, Radiology-, Study comments

• Launch the tech note dialogue for any patient on the PACS worklist

• R-click in the text field > select Macro

• Select Config from the sub-menu

• On Macro configuration > Select New
  • Add a Title and validate the title to ensure that there is no duplication
  • Add the text in the Contents field
  • Add a Hotkey (optional)
  • Tick Display Macro list
  • Save

• How to use the Macros as part of your workflow.
  • Launch the Tech note dialogue
  • R-click > select Macro
  • Select the item from the list as required. (Hover over the item to view a pop-up with the contents of the item)

• When selecting the item, the contents will populate in the Tech note field.
• Additional information can be added or the text edited as needed.

NOTE:  Macros created within the Tech note area are also available in the User Comment / Radiology Comment and Study comment fields and vice versa.
